I am writing this, my first blog post, from my new home office in Nairobi, Kenya.
I've been here for just over a week now, and quickly learned the term muzungu. Swahili for 'aimless wanderer,' it is the moniker given to foreign types like myself.
As a journalist, my instinct to write and publish is hard to resist. On this page I'll share with you some snippets of my adventures in East Africa, and hopefully before long some photos, video and audioblogging.
